What is Metanoia?
Discipleship shaped by how Jesus formed His disciples.
Not a Bible study. Not a club. A family committed to walking with you through one of the most formative seasons of your life.
METANOIA is a discipleship program for university students, built to walk in step with the European academic calendar. We exist to help students grow not only in their studies but in their understanding of God — living lives set apart for Jesus while still fully engaged as students, and eventually being sent out as reformers of society, carrying the Kingdom of God into whatever sphere they're headed toward.
Our model is shaped by how Jesus renewed the minds of twelve ordinary disciples and formed them into some of the most influential leaders in history — not through a classroom, but through years of close, ordinary, shared life.
A small group, not a classroom
You'll walk with 5–8 other students and 2 leaders who know your name, your story, and what you're actually walking through — not a lecture hall of strangers.
Practiced, not just taught
Every topic comes with a specific, practical assignment. We believe a change of mind isn't confirmed until you've practiced it in real life.
Sent, not just gathered
The goal was never to keep you in a room. METANOIA exists to send you into your major, your friendships, and your calling carrying the Kingdom of God with you.
The three-year pattern
Come. Stay. Go.
Mirroring the shape of the Gospels: John the Baptist prepares the way, Jesus shows the way by living among His disciples, and then commissions them to go and multiply.
Year 1
Come to Jesus 20 weeks / 2 semesters
The way is prepared. Repentance, encounter, and saying yes to the call of discipleship — the foundation every student begins with.
Year 2
Stay with Jesus 20 weeks / 2 semesters
The way is walked. Character, spiritual disciplines, and the freedom that lets a disciple finish the race, not just start it.
Year 3
Go with Jesus Invite-only
The way is multiplied. Leadership, evangelism, and sending — reproducing everything received, including planting METANOIA in a new city or university.
